The property was a dated 1930’s bungalow; the project brief was a complete re-model to suit the living requirements of our Client.
We took the concept of a traditional Dutch Barn and re-created it using modern building materials. A standing-seam metal roof wraps over the larch-clad and render facades.
The roof was removed and an additional floor was added comprising 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The internal space on the ground floor was reconfigured to suite the client’s request of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, reception room and utility.
Bespoke joinery was installed throughout the property, constructed of Birch ply giving continuity and a modern feel.
