We were initially involved in carrying out substantial repairs to the decayed timber framing to this listed building and associated repairs/reconstruction of both brick and lime infill panels. We had discussions with the conservation officer and agreed a way of incorporating breathable natural insulation products where possible to help insulate the property. Repairs were also required to the roof tiling, chimneys, guttering, drainage and considerable internal upgrading & conservation works.

The client obtained listed building consent to construct a ‘Boot Room’ extension and entrance to the side of the property and we were asked to construct this in matching materials to the main house, including a vaulted entrance area.
